Out of respect for other customers, the Walking Tour and/or the Food Experience shall start at the latest, 10 minutes after the designated time. Unfortunately, we will not be able to wait for late customers and will not provide refunds.
Are Walking Tours or Food Experiences ever canceled? show details
It might happen, although we hope it will be rare!

InsideOutJapan may cancel the service in the case of a sudden illness of the Travel Story Teller escorting the tour. In such a case, there will be a full refund.

Due to the force majeure act, which includes natural disasters (such as earthquakes, typhoons, tsunamis, etc.), wars, riots, orders by government authorities, or any other reasons beyond the control of InsideOutJapan such as the cancellation of a User’s flight to Japan, InsideOutJapan shall not be held responsible, and no refunds will be made.

The Walking Tours have no age limit.
Can people with disabilities participate in a Walking Tour or a Food Experience? show details
Some Walking Tours and Food Experiences can be very challenging for clients with limited motor skills or who use wheelchairs. Many of our walks and experiences have a lot of walking; please get in touch with us on the InsideOutJapan website and APP CHAT if you are concerned about this. We will help you choose the most appropriate ones.
Can someone with food allergies or intolerances participate in a Food Experience? show details
We don't recommend participation in food experiences in case of food allergies or intolerances. Due to the nature of the food tour, we can't guarantee a 100% allergen-free menu since cross-contamination is always possible, and we are not directly in charge of the kitchen.
What happens if it rains on the date of the Walking Tour or Food Experience? show details
The walks and experiences will take place as scheduled. The itinerary may vary according to weather conditions.
Can I smoke during a Walking Tour or a Food Experience? show details
All of our walks and experiences are not smoking. In Japan, you're not allowed to smoke while walking on the street; we don't make stops at the smoking areas. Also, most of the restaurants are not smoking.
