✓ The tour will start around 10:00 and end around 18:00: if you choose the half tour option the tour will end around 14:00. The meeting with the guide will take place in one of the central stations of the city.
✓ We will move in Tokyo using public transport (mainly metro lines). The JR pass cannot be used on this itinerary.
✓ We’ll visit Yanaka-Ginza, the area that represents the true essence of Shitamachi
✓ We’ll visit Kappabashi, which is famous for selling utensils and reproductions of food used as samples in Japanese restaurants (sampuru)
✓ We’ll visit Kyosumi Shirakawa Koen, a really beautiful and little known park
✓ We’ll visit the area of Monzennakacho, where there is a very unusual temple.
✓ We’ll stroll around Tsukishima Monja Street, the gourmet area famous for monjayaki’s restaurants, a variation of the typical okonomiyaki.
✓ Enjoy lunch (not included in rate) with your guide at a local restaurant

✓ No entrance fees are included. Entrance fees vary from ¥ 500 to ¥ 1,500 for each temple/shrine/museum per person. We will visit a max of 1 temple or museum
✓ No transportation costs are included. You may use your Japan Rail Pass on some of the specific lines. (Transport fees vary from ¥ 170 to ¥ 310 per person per trip)
✓ No meals or drinks are included – you are free to choose your own menu
✓ Min 2 pax – max 10 pax
✓ This is a walking tour so you need to wear comfortable shoes
✓ Guide will assist you with purchase of all transportation tickets and entrance fees (where applicable) for the day tour. Please bring cash in local currency.
