Activity summary
✓ The tour is scheduled to start at 09:00. You will be met and picked up at Asakusa Metro Station. (Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before departure)
✓ Nikko will be reached by train (TOBU line). Train ticket included. You may NOT use Japan Rail Pass to reach this destination. Travel time is around 120 minutes.
✓ Once in Nikko we will travel by bus / on foot
✓ Visit to Shinkyo Bridge, one of Japan’s three finest bridges and UNESCO World Heritage Site (around 30 min).
✓ Enjoy lunch (not included in rate) with your guide at a local restaurant. (around 60 min)
✓ Visit to Toshogu Shrine Complex: the sanctuary consists of more than a dozen buildings located in a beautiful forest. There you’ll see the famous “Three Wise Monkeys” (around 90 min).
✓ Visit to Futarasan Shrine: the shrine is dedicated to the gods of Nikko’s three most sacred mountains: Mount Nantai, Mount Nyoho and Mount Taro. (around 60 min)
✓ The return train will be around 16.30. Travel time is around 120 minutes.
